I have been a psychometrist since 1983 and am experienced working with all adult populations in neuropsychological assessments.
I'm one of the first Certified Specialists in Psychometry (CSP) - one of less than 15 in the State of Washington - and there are less than 300 in North America.
I am the first psychometrist who is also a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC - LH00011320) in addition to being a National Certified Counselor (NCC - 211380).
In addition, I was a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in psychometry, a founding member and past president (2007-2010) of the Board of Certified Psychometrists (BCP). I am a charter member of the National Association of Psychometrists (NAP), former NAP Board Member & Treasurer, and former BCP website administrator.
I have worked in several large medical centers as well as in private practice with licensed clinical/forensic neuropsychologists providing comprehensive neuropsychological assessments.
I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology from City University in 2003, graduating first in my class.
I provided therapy services at the Community Psychiatric Clinic (CPC) (now part of Sound Health) in Seattle. I volunteered at the King County Crisis Clinic and have been a co-facilitator at a local Alzheimer's Disease Caregivers group. I was a member of the American Counselors Association (ACA), Washington Mental Health Counselors Association (WMHCA) and several other professional organizations. In Western Washington I was the Pacific Northwest Neuropsychological Society (PNNS) Associate Member Representative.
I am frequent blood donor - working on my 13th gallon!
Thank you.
